Hotel Rail view had its humble beginning in the year 1972. Since beginning, the restaurant at Rail view was well known for the taste and quality of the food and beverages served. Noted personalities from the world of art, literature and cinema used to stay in this hotel. The hotel was started by Sri Pazhavila Sreedharan who was a prominent business man of Kollam. A few years later, his brother Shri. Pazhavila Raghavan also joined the venture. Currently the organization is owned and managed by three partners, who are members of the Pazhavila family.
